They cover this website only. If you subscribe to a QuartzX product, your use of that product is governed by the SaaS Agreement or by the written agreement signed between us, not by this document. Where the two differ, that agreement prevails for the service it covers.
Which version applies to you
This version is for readers in United States and elsewhere. Separate versions apply elsewhere: Canada (/legal/terms-of-service-ca); European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland (/legal/terms-of-service-fr). Each names the QuartzX company you deal with and the law that governs these terms in that territory.
1. Who we are
This website is operated by QuartzX LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, 3250 NE 1st Ave, Suite 305, Miami, FL 33137, U.S.A., together with its affiliates. In these terms, "QuartzX", "we", "us" and "our" refer to that company and its affiliates. "You" refers to the person accessing the site.

2. Acceptance and changes
By using this website you agree to these terms. We may change them, and the version in force is the one published here, with its effective date shown at the top of this page. Changes are not retroactive. If you continue to use the site after a change takes effect, you accept the revised terms.
3. Permitted use
You may read this site, and copy or print reasonable extracts for your own internal evaluation of our products. That permission is limited to those purposes and does not transfer any ownership.
4. What you may not do
You agree not to:
- use the site unlawfully, or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the site, or circumvent any security or access control, except under a written authorisation from us;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content, or use the site to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission;
- introduce malware, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organisation.
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in this site, please report it to legal@quartz-x.com rather than exploiting it. We will not pursue a good-faith researcher who reports promptly, does not access or modify data belonging to others, and gives us a reasonable opportunity to fix the issue.
5. Intellectual property and trademarks
The content of this site — text, graphics, diagrams, screenshots, software and layout — belongs to QuartzX or to its licensors, and is protected by copyright and other laws. Nothing in these terms grants you a licence to it beyond the permitted use in section 3.
QuartzX, QuartzIQ, QuartzID, QuartzPass, QuartzPilot, QuartzVault and the QuartzX marks are trademarks of QuartzX. Other names and logos on this site, including certification marks and the names of our customers, belong to their respective owners and are used with permission or as permitted by law. Their appearance does not imply an endorsement by them of QuartzX.
6. Third-party links and services
This site links to services we do not control, including scheduling, documentation, support and certification-body sites. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices; their own terms and privacy notices apply when you use them.
7. No professional advice
This site publishes material about governance, risk, internal control, compliance, identity and data protection, including articles, guides, solution pages and use cases. That material is general information about our products and about the field. It is not legal, regulatory, audit, accounting, tax or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
Using our products does not by itself make an organisation compliant with any law, regulation or standard. Compliance depends on how you configure and operate them, on your own controls, and on facts we do not control.
8. Figures, illustrations and forward-looking statements
Some figures on this site are illustrative — outcomes observed with particular customers, aggregated or anonymised at their request, or examples used to show how a product works. They describe what has happened in specific circumstances. They are not a promise, a guarantee or a projection of the result you would obtain, and results vary with scope, data quality and how a product is operated.
Statements about products or features we intend to release describe current plans, not commitments. Roadmaps change. Do not make a purchasing decision in reliance on a capability that is not available today.
Certifications and attestations described on this site — such as SOC 2 Type II or ISO/IEC 27001 — apply to the scope stated in the relevant report or certificate, for the period it covers. Reports are available on request under a confidentiality undertaking.
9. Demos, trials and evaluation access
Booking a demonstration or requesting information through this site does not create a contract for the service and does not oblige either of us to enter into one. Any access we give you for evaluation is provided as-is, for that purpose only, and may be withdrawn at any time. Do not put production or regulated data into an evaluation environment.
10. Availability of the site
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this site at any time, without notice. We do not undertake that the site will be available uninterrupted or error-free. This section does not apply to the availability of a paid service, which is governed by its own agreement.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, this website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QuartzX will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this website.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and any statutory rights you have as a consumer. Section 13 says how this applies where you live.
12. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what rights you have over it, including cookies and similar technologies. It forms part of your use of the site and is published alongside this document.
13. Governing law, and where you live
QuartzX operates from several countries and this site is read in many more. The section that applies to you is the one for your place of residence. Mandatory consumer protections in your country apply whatever this document says, and nothing here removes your right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live where the law gives you that right.
United States
If you reside in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Delaware have jurisdiction.
Elsewhere
If you reside anywhere else, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, U.S.A., without prejudice to any mandatory protection available to you under the law of your country of residence.
14. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in force and that provision is applied to the greatest extent permitted. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Together with the Privacy Policy, these terms are the entire agreement between us about your use of this website.
